Description
The Limited 50th Anniversary 314ce is Taylor's celebration build on their workhorse Grand Auditorium platform, swapping the standard tonewoods for torrefied Sitka spruce on top and a smoked eucalyptus fingerboard. Torrefied spruce behaves like aged wood from the start, offering faster response and reduced muddiness in the low-mids compared to a standard top. The sapele back and sides pair well with that top to keep the overall voice articulate and balanced across a broad dynamic range.
