Free Restrings for Life

Every guitar purchased from Righteous Guitars - new or pre-owned - comes with free restrings for life. No catch, no upsell. We provide the strings and the labor at no cost to you, for as long as you own the instrument.

How It Works

  • Bring your Righteous Guitars-purchased instrument to our shop once per quarter (every 90 days) and we'll restring it - strings included.
  • While we've got it in hand, we'll make any minor adjustments needed to keep everything playing the way it should and let you know if there are any major issues that need addressing.

The Fine Print

  • This perk is available in-store only. You must bring the instrument to our shop in person. We will not mail strings or provide this service remotely under any circumstances.
  • Applies only to the original purchaser of a guitar bought directly from Righteous Guitars. Proof of purchase may be required.
  • String brand and gauge are at our discretion unless you have a specific preference which you can provide and the service will still be free of charge.
  • This does not cover full setups, repairs, or services beyond a standard restring and minor adjustments.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue this program at any time, though any instrument purchased while the program is active will continue to be honored.

Why do we do this? Because a well-maintained guitar plays better, sounds better, and keeps you playing. That's good for you and good for us.

Trade-Ins

We accept trade-ins on a case-by-case basis. Not every instrument is a fit for our inventory, and trade values depend on current market conditions, demand, and the condition of your instrument.

  • Trade-in offers are valid for 7 days from the date they are issued.
  • For in-person trade-ins, bring the instrument to our shop for evaluation. Please call ahead so we can set aside time to give it a proper look.
  • If you're not local, you can always email info@righteousguitars.com for a preliminary valuation. If you would like to trade you may ship the instrument to us for evaluation at your expense. We'll inspect it and provide a finalized trade value. If you decline the offer, we'll ship it back to you at your expense.
  • Trade values are based on our assessment of condition, market value, and saleability. Our offers are fair, but they are final - we don't negotiate trade values.
  • Trade-in credit may be applied toward any in-stock purchase. Trade credit cannot be redeemed for cash.

Shipping & Delivery

We take shipping seriously — these are instruments, not paperware.

  • Same-day shipping is available on most in-stock items when your order is placed and payment clears before 1:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday. Orders placed after the cutoff or on weekends/holidays ship the next business day.
  • Every shipment is fully insured for the total purchase price at no additional cost to you.
  • Signature is required on all deliveries. No exceptions. We will not be responsible for packages left unattended.
  • You have 24 hours from the time of delivery to inspect your shipment and report any damage. If something arrives damaged, contact us immediately at (678) 735-3115 with photos of the packaging and the damage. We will file the insurance claim on your behalf — you don't need to deal with the carrier. After the 24-hour window, damage claims cannot be honored.
  • Shipping method and carrier are at our discretion unless a specific method is requested and paid for at checkout.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Returns & Exchanges

In-Store Purchases
Items purchased in-store may be exchanged for a different in-stock item of equal or greater value within 7 days of purchase. The item must be in the same condition it left the store — no dings, no modifications, no missing accessories. If you're exchanging for a higher-priced item, you pay the difference. We do not offer cash refunds on in-store purchases.

Online & Phone Orders
You have 72 hours from the time of delivery to inspect your purchase and contact us if you'd like to initiate a return. The item must be returned in the exact condition it was received, in its original packaging with all accessories, tags, case candy, and documentation included.

  • Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee based on the purchase price.
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs. If your order originally shipped free, $50 will be deducted from your return credit to cover our original outbound shipping.
  • Items must be shipped back in the original packaging (or equivalent protection) and fully insured for the purchase price. We are not responsible for items damaged in return transit.

Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances:

  • Special orders and custom orders
  • Layaway items
  • Clearance, markdown, or discounted items
  • Discontinued items
  • Items that have been modified, altered, or damaged after delivery
  • Oversized or overweight items
  • Strings, picks, cleaning supplies, and other consumable accessories

A note from us: We're reasonable people running a real shop — not a faceless corporation. If something genuinely isn't right, call us. We'll do our best to make it right. But we also can't operate as a free rental service, so please understand that these policies exist to keep our doors open and our prices fair for everyone.

If the issue is covered under warranty, we'll repair or replace it at our discretion at no charge.

This warranty is non-transferable. It applies only to the original purchaser and the original transaction. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. This warranty does not cover instruments purchased secondhand, at auction, or from other dealers.

We offer layaway on select items to help you get the instrument you want.

  • non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total purchase price is required to place an item on layaway.
  • The remaining balance must be paid in full within 30 days. No extensions will be granted unless arranged in writing before the 30-day period expires.
  • If the balance is not paid within the 30-day window and no extension has been arranged, the deposit is forfeited and the item will be returned to inventory. No refunds, credits, or transfers of the deposit will be issued.
  • Layaway items are not eligible for return or exchange once the balance is paid and the item is released.
  • Layaway deposits cannot be transferred to a different item without prior approval.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, wire transfers, cashier's checks, money orders, and good old-fashioned cash — both online and in-store.

Personal checks and money orders must clear our bank before any merchandise is released or shipped. Clearance times vary but typically take 5–10 business days. We'll notify you as soon as funds clear and your order is ready.

Wire transfers are welcome for high-value purchases. Please contact us at (678) 735-3115 for wiring instructions. A wire transfer confirmation must be received before we release the instrument.

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Sales tax is collected where required by Georgia state law.

Pricing & Website Accuracy

We do our best to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and prices on our website are accurate. However, errors happen.

  • If an item is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and notify you of the error before shipping.
  • If an order is canceled due to a pricing error, you will receive a full refund of any amount charged — no questions asked.
  • Product images are representative and may vary slightly from the actual item (wood grain, finish shade, etc.). For exact photos of a specific instrument, contact us and we'll send you detailed images.
  • If something looks too good to be true, it probably is. Give us a call at (678) 735-3115 and we'll confirm pricing before you place your order.
