Jackson was born in the same Southern California hot-rod scene that created the superstrat, and it has stayed the sharpest tool in that drawer ever since. We stock American Series from Corona, MJ Series from Japan, Pro and Pro Plus models, and our exclusive Righteous Run Custom Soloists.

About Jackson Guitars

Jackson started in 1980 when Grover Jackson's shop built Randy Rhoads a guitar too radical to wear the Charvel name. The pointed headstock, neck-through builds, and compound-radius fingerboards that followed became the blueprint for the modern metal guitar. Today the line runs from accessible Pro Series models to the American Series, built start to finish in Corona, California.

Our stock centers on the two pillars: the neck-through Soloist and the bolt-on Dinky, in everything from classic HH layouts to EverTune bridges, multiscale frets, and seven-strings. The American Series Soloists and Virtuosos are the USA flagships, and our Righteous Run Custom Soloists are a color-shift batch built exclusively for this shop.

Frequently asked questions

Which Jackson series should I buy?

Pro and Pro Plus Series are the value sweet spot. MJ Series adds Japanese build quality. The American Series, built in Corona, California, is the flagship: stainless frets, premium hardware, and USA fit and finish. Every listing states its series in the title.

Do you carry the Jackson Rhoads, Kelly, or King V?

They come through regularly. Soloists and Dinkys make up most of our Jackson stock day to day, but the pointy shapes land here too and tend to move fast. Call us and we will tell you what is in the building and what is inbound.

What is the difference between Jackson and Charvel?

Shared DNA, different personality. Both grew out of the same San Dimas, California hot-rod shop. Charvel stayed close to the classic double-cut formula; Jackson went sharper, with pointed headstocks, neck-through Soloists, and shapes built for metal. We stock both, and you can play them back to back in our Roswell, Georgia showroom.
