About Boucher Guitars

Boucher is a Canadian builder with a rare advantage: the company mills and grades its own Adirondack red spruce, the top wood most builders reserve for their highest tiers. On a Boucher it is the starting point, not the upcharge.

The lineup is organized into three families. Studio Goose (SG) is the core line with clean appointments. Heritage Goose (HG) draws on traditional pre-war styling. Bluegrass Goose (BG) is voiced for flatpickers who need a dreadnought that can drive a jam. Model numbers describe the body size and wood pairing, so the number tells you what you are looking at before you ever pick one up.
