The Telecaster started it all: the first mass-produced solid-body electric, and seventy-plus years later still the most direct line between your hands and the amp. From butterscotch classics to Custom Shop relics and modern American Ultra builds, every Tele here is inspected and set up before it ships.

About the Fender Telecaster

Leo Fender's original solid-body arrived in 1950 as the Broadcaster and took the Telecaster name in 1951. Its recipe has barely changed since: a slab single-cutaway body, a bright cutting bridge pickup, and workhorse reliability that made it the tool of choice for Keith Richards, Jimmy Page on the first Led Zeppelin record, Bruce Springsteen, and generations of country players. Today's range spans American Professional and American Ultra production models, signature builds, and Fender Custom Shop reissues with aged finishes from Closet Classic to Heavy Relic. Our Telecaster stock is one-off and rotates constantly; the guitar you see listed is the exact instrument you'll receive.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a Telecaster and a Stratocaster?

The Telecaster is the simpler, older design: two pickups, a fixed bridge, and a famously direct, twangy voice. The Stratocaster adds a third pickup, body contours, and a tremolo for a rounder, more flexible sound. Neither is better; Teles tend to cut, Strats tend to sing.

Do you carry Nocaster and Esquire models?

Yes. Nocasters and Esquires are part of the Telecaster family, and you'll find them right here in this collection alongside standard Teles, most of them Fender Custom Shop builds. Our selection rotates constantly, so check back if you don't see one today.

Will my Telecaster be set up before it ships?

Every guitar we sell is inspected and professionally set up before shipping, and anything over $3K gets a complimentary PLEK fret dress on Georgia's only PLEK station.
