(678) 735-3115Trade-Ins & Outright Buys
We accept trades of guitar-related equipment and buy outright. Guitars, amplifiers, and pedals - if it's quality gear, we want to hear about it.
Our Approach
We take an honest and straightforward approach to every trade. We'll tell you what we think we can sell your item for, and what we'll offer you in trade or purchase value. That way you can make an educated decision about what works best for you.
Trade-in value can be applied toward anything in the shop. If you'd rather sell outright, we offer payment via Zelle (instant), check (mailed), or wire transfer.
A note of honesty: you will almost always get better value selling privately. But if you value speed, simplicity, and a fair shake - that's what we're here for.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers on trades, outright sales, collection buys, and appraisals.
What gear will you take in on trade or buy outright?
Guitars, amplifiers, and effects pedals in reasonable working condition. We don't take mixers, PA equipment, keyboards, lighting gear, drums, band or orchestral instruments, raw speakers, loose pickups, cables, or guitar stands. If you're not sure, just ask.
How do I get an offer on my gear?
Email info@righteousguitars.com with details about your gear. Photos and serial numbers are always helpful. We'll tell you what we think we can sell your item for and what we can offer in trade or purchase value, so you can make an educated decision.
How does payment work?
For outright sales we pay by Zelle (instant), check (mailed), or wire transfer. Trade-in value is applied as store credit toward anything in the shop.
What does an appraisal cost and what's included?
Appraisals are $150 per instrument. You receive a signed and dated appraisal on Righteous Guitars letterhead reflecting current replacement value, professional photographs, and a digital copy delivered by email.
Do you buy entire collections?
Yes. Send us a list of what you have; serial numbers and photos help us put together an accurate proposal. We can come to you to evaluate and pick up the gear, and we pay promptly.
Do I need anything to sell or trade?
A government-issued ID is required for all trade-ins and sales, and you must be at least 18 years old.
Will I get more money selling privately?
Almost always, yes. We're upfront about that. What we offer is speed, simplicity, and a fair shake. If that trade-off works for you, we make it easy.
