A full-time repair team inside the showroom
Righteous Guitars has a full-time repair team working inside our Roswell showroom, about 25 minutes north of Atlanta just off GA-400. The team handles setups, fret level and crown work, nut and saddle replacement, electronics and pickup installs, hardware swaps, and structural glue repairs on electric, acoustic, and bass guitars. It is the same team that inspects and sets up every guitar we sell before it ships.
Walk-ins are welcome during shop hours, or book online with a deposit that goes toward your service. Most work is ready in three business days; structural repairs can take longer. Not sure what your guitar needs? Call or send a message and we will help you figure it out before you book.
Fret buzz? Start with the PLEK.
Georgia's only PLEK machine is here in our showroom. It scans the entire fretboard under string tension and shows what hand measurement cannot, then the fret level is dialed to your string gauge and tuning. If your guitar buzzes, chokes out on bends, or fights you above the 12th fret, the PLEK is usually the answer.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a guitar setup cost?
A standard setup is $95. A PLEK service, which includes a computer-controlled fret level, is $300. Electronics work starts at $50 and structural repairs at $40. The deposit you pay when booking is applied to the final bill.
How long does a guitar repair take?
Most repairs are ready in three business days from drop-off. Structural repairs can take longer, and expedited service is often available if you need the guitar back sooner.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk-ins are welcome during shop hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 5pm. Booking online with a deposit reserves your bench time in advance.
Do you work on guitars that weren't bought at Righteous?
Yes. We work on electric, acoustic, and bass guitars no matter where you bought them. The free quarterly restring is the one service reserved for guitars purchased at Righteous.
What is the difference between a standard setup and a PLEK setup?
The standard setup covers a restring, a full clean and fret polish, and adjustment of neck relief, string action, intonation, and pickup height, all set to your tuning and string gauge. A PLEK service adds a computer-controlled scan and fret level before the setup: the machine measures the fretboard under string tension and levels the frets to match.
