Description
The Downeast GAC Koa is Bourgeois's workhorse grand auditorium built entirely from Hawaiian figured koa, top and back and sides, which gives it a midrange-forward tone with less bass bloom than a spruce-top alternative. The soft-V mahogany neck suits players who spend time in open-position work, and the ziricote fingerboard and bridge add density that helps articulate note separation on a body shape prone to wash. Includes a hardshell case.
