Description
The Touchstone D Country Boy sits in Bourgeois's working-player tier - a full dreadnought built around mahogany back and sides with a torrefied Alaskan Sitka spruce top. Torrefaction accelerates the aging process in the wood, so this guitar plays closer to a broken-in vintage dreadnought than a typical new build, with a focused midrange response that cuts through in a band mix. The ebony fingerboard and bridge add sustain and note definition that rosewood typically won't match.
