This pre-owned PRS S2 Standard 22 is in very good condition with light scratches and small dings. Built in PRS's Maryland factory, the S2 Standard 22 is an all-mahogany guitar - mahogany body, set mahogany neck - which gives it a focused, warm character and strong sustain. The 58/15 LT humbuckers are articulate pickups with clear highs and pronounced mids, and the push/pull tone control with 5-way blade switch adds coil-splitting to expand the tonal range into single-coil territory.
The Pattern Regular neck profile is a slightly fuller carve based on PRS's original pre-factory design, paired with a 10" radius rosewood fingerboard at a 25" scale - a practical choice for players who want something between a vintage chunky feel and a modern thin profile. The PRS Patented Tremolo is built for tuning stability under regular use, so players who lean on vibrato don't have to compromise. This is a well-suited guitar for gigging musicians who need one instrument to handle a wide range of styles and amp or pedal setups, and at this price point it delivers American-made construction that's difficult to match.
