The Taylor 214ce-K pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with layered koa back and sides in the Grand Auditorium body shape, one of Taylor's most versatile platforms. The spruce-over-koa combination delivers a clear, balanced voice with focused midrange presence, while the tropical mahogany neck and West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard keep the playing feel familiar and comfortable at the 25.5-inch scale length. The onboard Expression System 2 pickup produces a natural, articulate amplified tone without the piezo quack common in this category.
