The Taylor 724ce is an all-Hawaiian-koa Grand Auditorium built for players who want a touch-sensitive, stage-ready acoustic-electric in a versatile body format. Solid koa top, back, and sides give the guitar a voice that splits the difference between mahogany's midrange warmth and maple's articulate attack - punchy and responsive whether you're fingerpicking or flatpicking. Taylor's V-Class bracing optimizes sustain and volume consistency across the fretboard, so notes ring clearly in the upper register as well as the open strings. The Venetian cutaway and 25.5" scale give you full upper-fret access without changing the feel of a standard long-scale neck.
A West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard adds a firm, fast playing surface. Taylor's Expression System 2 uses a behind-the-saddle pickup design that keeps the saddle in full contact with the bridge, translating the guitar's natural acoustic tone to a PA or interface without the harsh high-mid spike common to undersaddle transducers. This pre-owned example is in excellent condition with light scratches and no case candy, and includes a hardshell case.
