The Gibson 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS is Gibson Custom Shop's benchmark recreation of the most sought-after solidbody electric ever produced, built here with a one-piece lightweight mahogany body and a two-piece figured maple top in Washed Cherry Sunburst under a VOS lacquer finish. Its unpotted Custombucker Alnico III pickups deliver open, articulate cleans and a fat, vocal overdrive character that the original PAFs were known for, while the 50s Rounded Medium C neck profile and 12-inch rosewood fingerboard keep the playing feel faithful to the late-1950s spec. Ships with a brown Custom Shop hardshell case, complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping, a limited lifetime warranty, and free shipping to the continental U.S.
