The Gibson B.B. King Lucille Legacy is a semi-hollow ES-style guitar with a fully sealed top, eliminating f-holes to reduce feedback at high volume, a design specification tied directly to B.B. King's playing requirements. The figured maple/poplar/maple laminate body pairs with a mahogany neck in a Slim Taper profile, and the Custombuckers through an ABR-1 bridge deliver a warm, articulate tone with controlled low-end that suits expressive blues phrasing. The Transparent Ebony finish shows the figured top clearly. This brand new example ships with a hardshell case, complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping, a limited lifetime warranty, and free shipping to the continental U.S.
