Description
The Songwriter Standard Rosewood sits at the top of Gibson's acoustic lineup, pairing a Sitka spruce top with a full rosewood body for a dreadnought with more low-end complexity and sustain than you'd get from mahogany or maple. The 25.5" scale and 12" radius fingerboard give it a slightly tighter, more precise feel than Gibson's shorter-scale acoustics, making it well-suited for fingerpickers and flatpickers alike. The LR Baggs VTC pickup is one of the more transparent under-saddle systems available, designed to capture the acoustic tone without coloring it. Every guitar at this price point receives a complimentary PLEK setup and is backed by our limited lifetime warranty.
