This custom OM Grand from our friends at Santa Cruz Guitar Company is not only unique looking, but a pleasure to play. Sycamore is not a wood we would think of often, but this cut was so pretty we had to take a chance on it. What a fortuitous decision that was! We chose to pair it with a beautiful bear claw Moon spruce top to add a bit of stiffness and power to the already potent OM Grand body. This is a balanced and powerful guitar that has a clarity that is really special. Happy with a pick or finger-style, this is a great all around performer. We decided to wrap the package up with snakewood binding all around and a matching snakewood rosette along with a headstock veneer from the same wood as the back to tie it all together.
