Bourgeois Acoustic Guitars
Bourgeois Guitars are primarily built in Lewiston, Maine, by one of America's most respected luthiers. Dana Bourgeois built his first guitar in a Bowdoin College dorm room in the early 1970s and has spent the decades since refining the art of acoustic guitar voicing — the process of tuning each soundboard by hand to bring out its optimal tonal characteristics. His use of premium tonewoods like Adirondack Spruce, Brazilian Rosewood, and Aged European Spruce, combined with meticulous hand-voicing, produces acoustic guitars with extraordinary complexity, warmth, and dynamic range. Players like Bryan Sutton, Sierra Hull, and Ricky Skaggs have trusted Bourgeois acoustics on stage and in the studio.
At Righteous Guitars, every Bourgeois acoustic is inspected and set up by our team. Models over $3,000 receive a complimentary PLEK setup before shipping.
