Description
The Eastman E1OM Deluxe is an all-solid orchestra model acoustic-electric built for fingerstyle players and singer-songwriters who want stage-ready capability without sacrificing acoustic quality. The thermo-cured Sitka spruce top uses a heat-treating process designed to replicate the tonal openness of an aged top, so the guitar responds more freely from the start than a standard spruce instrument. Solid sapele back and sides add warmth and projection, while hand-scalloped X-bracing allows the soundboard to move with less restriction, contributing to fuller dynamic range for an OM-size body. The ebony fingerboard and bridge offer a firm playing surface and precise intonation transfer, and the bone nut contributes to clear open-string resonance. A Fishman Presys VT system provides soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, making the guitar straightforward to plug in without altering its acoustic-first character. The 24.9" scale length and 12" fingerboard radius suit players who want moderate string tension with a relatively flat playing surface. At this price point, the all-solid tonewood package, ebony appointments, and included electronics represent a strong value for a new acoustic-electric.
