The Boucher LE-HG-166-MV is a 000-body, 12-fret-to-body acoustic built for players who want fingerstyle clarity and dynamic range in a comfortable format. The torrefied Master Grade Adirondack Red Spruce top has been heat-treated to behave like a broken-in, aged soundboard from the first session - stiffer and lighter than untreated spruce, which translates to faster response and wider dynamic headroom without waiting years for the wood to open up. Paired with AAAAA quilted maple back and sides, the guitar delivers articulate note separation and controlled bass response that punches above what a 000 body typically offers.
The 25.5" scale on a 12-fret body gives fingerstyle players comfortable access to the upper register while maintaining enough tension for clear note definition across all positions. Ebony on both the fingerboard and bridge adds stability and contributes to that precise, defined attack. The South American mahogany neck and bone nut round out a construction package built for players who are looking for a smaller body guitar that punches well above its weight.
