The 814e Gold Label sits at the top of Taylor's production acoustic lineup, built with tonewoods that aren't found in the standard 800 series - Honduran rosewood back and sides, a torrefied spruce top, and a West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard. Torrefied spruce behaves like aged wood from day one, delivering a more open, responsive top that gives this guitar a head start on the break-in process most acoustics take years to reach. The LR Baggs Element VTC keeps the plugged-in signal transparent and natural, making this a practical choice for performers who need an amplified sound that doesn't fight the acoustic tone.
