The Gibson Custom Shop 1959 ES-355 Stop Bar is a faithful recreation of Gibson's top-tier semi-hollow from 1959, spec'd with multiple binding, pearloid block inlays, a nylon nut, and Custombucker Alnico III pickups - the appointments that separated the 355 from the 335 and 345 when it was introduced. The 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body construction with rosewood fingerboard delivers articulate highs and warm, punchy mids with tight low-end response, while the medium C neck profile offers comfortable playability across all registers. This pre-owned example is in excellent condition and includes our complimentary PLEK service and limited lifetime warranty.
