Description
The Martin Special D-12F is a limited, small-batch build that pairs an Adirondack spruce top with sinker mahogany back, sides, and neck - a combination that produces a focused, dry response with more note separation than standard mahogany-topped dreadnoughts. The 24.4" short scale and modified V neck profile suit fingerstyle players or those who find standard scale length tiring. The built-in LR Baggs HiFi Duet system handles amplification without requiring a separate soundhole pickup. This pre-owned example is in good condition with a crack on the side, scratches, and a small ding - priced and disclosed accordingly, and it includes a complimentary PLEK setup and our limited lifetime warranty.
