The 2023 Custom Grand Auditorium sits above Taylor's standard production line, built with a bearclaw Sitka spruce top over figured big leaf maple back and sides - a combination that produces a focused, articulate sound with strong note separation across the full frequency range. The hard rock maple neck and Crelicam ebony fingerboard add stiffness and stability, while the 25.5" scale length gives the instrument a tighter feel under the fingers compared to shorter-scale Grand Auditoriums. Taylor's Expression System 2 pickup translates the acoustic voice accurately for amplified performance. This guitar includes complimentary PLEK service and a limited lifetime warranty.
