The Paul Reed Smith Silver Sky in Midnight Rose is John Mayer's bolt-on collaboration with PRS, pairing an alder body and maple neck with a maple fingerboard and 7.25-inch radius for a familiar vintage feel on a modern platform. The 635JM pickups deliver a glassy, articulate single-coil voice with enough body to stay full across all five positions, while the PRS steel tremolo and bone nut keep tuning stable through moderate use.
