The Gibson 1960 Standard Reissue VOS faithfully recreates the late-burst-era Les Paul Standard, built here with a 2-piece figured maple top over a 1-piece lightweight mahogany body and finished in Iced Tea Burst under a Vintage Original Spec lacquer treatment. Its unpotted Custombucker Alnico III pickups deliver an open, articulate response with clear note separation, while the 60s Slim Taper mahogany neck and 12-inch radius Indian rosewood fingerboard make for a fast, comfortable playing experience. Period-correct appointments include a no-wire ABR-1 bridge and aged cellulose nitrate trapezoid inlays. Ships with a hardshell case, complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping, a limited lifetime warranty, and free shipping to the continental U.S.
