Description
The Boucher LE-SG-171 sits at the top of Boucher's lineup - a small-body OM built with a torrefied AAAA Adirondack spruce top over highly figured koa back and sides. Torrefied tops behave like aged tonewoods from the start, offering the kind of immediate responsiveness and low-end clarity that untreated tops take decades to develop, while the koa contributes a focused, dry midrange that suits fingerpicking and light strumming equally well. The 25.5" scale and solid ebony fingerboard give this guitar a firmer feel and added note definition compared to shorter-scale OMs. Every guitar over $3,000 at Righteous Guitars receives a complimentary PLEK setup and is backed by our limited lifetime warranty.
