Description
The Fender Custom Shop Limited 1964 L-Series Stratocaster Heavy Relic is a limited-run reissue built to 1964 transition-era specs, when Fender shifted from sequential to L-prefix serial numbers under CBS ownership. The alder body, rift sawn maple neck with a '63 C profile, and 7.25-to-9.5-inch compound radius AAA rosewood fingerboard pair period-correct feel with modern playability, while the hand-wound '64 Fat Strat pickups deliver a warm, punchy midrange with glassy highs characteristic of that era. Ships in a Custom Shop hardshell case with free shipping to the continental U.S., and qualifies for complimentary PLEK service and a limited lifetime warranty.
