Description
The Fender Custom Shop 1958 Telecaster Journeyman Relic pairs an ash body in Aged HLE Gold with a quarter-sawn maple neck shaped to a 1956 V profile. HLE Gold, originally a limited-edition finish from the mid-1980s, is here aged to show subtle, believable wear consistent with the Journeyman treatment. Hand-wound '58 Tele pickups deliver snappy, articulate single-coil tone with the open midrange character typical of ash-bodied Telecasters, while the top-load and string-through bridge offers flexibility in setup and feel. Ships with a Custom Shop hardshell case, complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping, a limited lifetime warranty, and free shipping to the continental U.S.
