Description
The Fender Custom Shop 1968 Stratocaster Lush Closet Classic in Aged Ice Blue Metallic is a period-correct recreation of the late-'60s transitional Strat, built with an alder body, plain grain maple neck and fingerboard, and a 1969 U profile that fills the hand with a substantial but comfortable grip. The hand-wound '69 Strat underwound pickups deliver a glassy, open response with a snappy attack that cleans up well at lower volumes and pushes into vocal midrange territory when driven. Ships in a Custom Shop hardshell case with free shipping to the continental U.S., and this guitar qualifies for complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping as well as a limited lifetime warranty.
