Description
The Gibson 1939 J-55 Reissue is a Custom Shop reproduction of one of Gibson's rarest pre-war flat-tops, built with a thermally aged red spruce top and mahogany back and sides on a 25.5-inch scale. The red spruce top paired with the round-shouldered dreadnought body produces a forward, punchy midrange with clear note separation, while the Historic AJ neck profile fills the hand with a substantial but comfortable carve. Ships with a Custom Shop hardshell case, complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping, a limited lifetime warranty, and free shipping to the continental U.S.
