Description
The Gibson SG Special pairs a lightweight mahogany body and Slim Taper mahogany neck with a pair of P-90 single-coil pickups, giving it a rawer, more aggressive voice than its humbucker-equipped siblings. The P-90s deliver a punchy midrange with enough bite and clarity to cut through a mix, while the compensated wraparound bridge keeps things simple and resonant across the 24.75-inch scale length. The 12-inch radius rosewood fingerboard and Graph Tech nut make for a comfortable, stable platform. Ships with a hardshell case and free shipping to the continental U.S.
