Description
The Boucher HG-56-M is a 000/Auditorium acoustic built for fingerstyle players who want a smaller-body guitar that delivers genuine low-mid depth alongside clear high-end articulation. The soundboard is a Master Grade torrefied Adirondack red spruce - Boucher's top tier of top-wood selection - processed using a torrefaction method the brand developed to produce the opened-up tonal response of an aged top from day one. The 12-fret body join shifts the bridge toward the center of the top, and combined with a forward-shifted, hand-scalloped X-brace, that geometry pushes the emphasis toward full mids and low-mids rather than simply boosted bass - a quality that holds up well even with a capo high on the neck.
East Indian rosewood back and sides extend the frequency range, and the 25.5" scale keeps string tension predictable across the board. The solid ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut, and one-piece South American mahogany neck with a two-way truss rod round out a construction spec built for long-term stability. A Certificate of Authenticity, TKL Tweed Deluxe hardshell case, complimentary PLEK setup, and a limited lifetime warranty are all included at this price point.
