The Eastman AC422CE is a grand auditorium cutaway acoustic-electric built entirely from solid tonewoods - solid Sitka spruce over solid rosewood back and sides - a construction spec that carries real weight at this price point. Hand-scalloped X bracing supports the top and contributes to balanced projection across the frequency range, making the guitar practical for both strumming and fingerpicking. The Venetian cutaway opens up the upper register of the 25.4" scale for players who need fret access beyond the 12th.
Ebony covers both the fingerboard and bridge, and a bone nut rounds out a hardware package built for long-term stability. The LR Baggs Element VTC handles amplification with a natural, transparent character that translates acoustic dynamics well in live settings. A soundhole-mounted volume control keeps the stage setup simple.
