This pre-owned Fender American Professional II Stratocaster in Black is a U.S.-made, alder-body Strat built for players who want professional-grade tone and playability at a used price. This pre-owned example is in Good condition, with many scratches throughout - worth inspecting in person, but priced accordingly. The three V-Mod II single-coil pickups are voiced individually by position using different Alnico magnet blends, delivering articulate, chime-forward single-coil tone with a treble bleed circuit that keeps clarity intact when you roll the volume back. A push-push second tone control adds neck pickup access in bridge and bridge-middle positions, giving you up to seven pickup combinations from a standard 5-way switch.
The 2-point synchronized tremolo runs a cold-rolled steel block and bent steel saddles, which improves sustain and high-end response over earlier versions. The maple neck carries a Deep "C" profile and a 9.5" radius maple fingerboard across a 25.5" scale. If you want a workhorse American Strat with classic single-coil voice and modern ergonomics, this one delivers that at a meaningful discount over new.
