Description
The PRS SE Hollowbody I Piezo is a fully hollow electric with an integrated piezo system, making it a practical choice for players who need both electric and acoustic-style tones from a single instrument. The maple top and mahogany back construction delivers open resonance, while the center block keeps feedback manageable at stage volume. The PRS Adjustable Stoptail bridge uses individually saddle-mounted piezos co-developed with LR Baggs, and the guitar runs dual output jacks-one magnetic, one mix/piezo-so you can blend both signals or split them to separate amplification entirely.
The 85/15 "S" humbuckers are PRS's modern voiced humbucker design, balanced across the frequency range with extended highs and lows, and through a hollow body they respond with more bloom and resonance than the same pickups would produce in a solid body guitar. The 25" scale and 10" fingerboard radius are player-friendly middle-ground specs, and the Wide Fat neck profile suits players who prefer a substantial, vintage-style grip. At under 6 lbs 10 oz, it carries lighter than most hollow electrics in this format. This guitar works well for players moving between clean electric, overdriven, and acoustic tones within a single set, and comes in a Lake Blue finish with bird inlays and a gig bag included.
