The Taylor GS Mini-e Koa is a travel-format acoustic-electric built around a solid Hawaiian koa top with layered koa back and sides, making it a practical choice for players who want a capable gigging or recording instrument they can actually take anywhere. Scaled to 23.5", it plays with noticeably less resistance than a full-size acoustic, which suits players logging long practice sessions, those coming from electric guitar, or anyone who finds a standard-scale neck a workout. Koa as a top wood delivers a focused midrange with natural compression that keeps dynamics balanced across strumming and fingerpicking. The West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard and bridge add a firm, responsive playing surface. Taylor's ES-B system - a behind-the-saddle pickup with 2-band EQ, volume, and a built-in chromatic tuner - means you can plug directly into a PA or acoustic amp without a separate tuner pedal. The included padded gig bag makes it easy to travel light without leaving the guitar unprotected.
