The 1942 Banner J-45 Light Aged is Gibson's recreation of their wartime-era workhorse, built during a period when tighter materials forced construction techniques that players have chased ever since. Thermally aged red spruce on the top accelerates the tonal properties of decades of play, while the mahogany body and historic neck profile put you as close to a vintage J-45 as a new guitar can. This one ships with a hardshell case, and every guitar at this price point receives a complimentary PLEK setup and is backed by our limited lifetime warranty.
