The SJ-200 Western Classic is Gibson's flagship jumbo acoustic, built on the same platform as the original J-200 but with a rosewood back and sides in place of maple-a combination that shifts the tonal balance toward more pronounced low-mid presence and a tighter top-end response. The AAA Sitka spruce top, ebony bridge, and 25.5" scale length give it the projection and sustain that made the SJ-200 a stage instrument before it was anything else.
