Description
The Fender Custom Shop Limited '64 L-Series Stratocaster Time Capsule Relic recreates the transitional 1964 Strat from the L-series production era, when Fender was shifting ownership to CBS, using period-correct specs including a quartersawn maple neck with a '63 C profile, AAA rosewood fingerboard, and alder body in Aged Lake Placid Blue. The hand-wound '64 Strat neck and middle pickups deliver glassy, articulate single-coil response, while the '64 Fat Strat bridge pickup adds a thicker midrange push for lead work. Ships in a Custom Shop hardshell case with complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping, a limited lifetime warranty, and free shipping to the continental U.S.
