Introduced in 1937, the SJ-200 defined the super jumbo acoustic: a 17-inch maple body, moustache bridge, and crown-inlaid ebony fretboard delivering a huge, balanced voice that has backed everyone from Elvis Presley to Emmylou Harris and Pete Townshend. The modern Original stays faithful to the classic maple recipe, the Standard adds contemporary appointments and electronics, and Studio versions in rosewood and walnut trade ornamentation for tonal variety and price. At the top, True Vintage and Murphy Lab aged 1957 reissues from Gibson's Custom Shop chase the golden-era originals. Our SJ-200 stock is one-off and rotates constantly.
