Description
The Gibson 1952 J-185 reissues the mid-century jumbo flattop with a thermally aged Sitka spruce top over flame maple back and sides, paired with a mahogany V-profile neck and rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl parallelogram inlays. The maple body delivers a bright, articulate response with strong projection and clear note separation, while the thermal aging process opens up the top for a played-in quality from the start. Ships in a hardshell case with complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping, a limited lifetime warranty, and free shipping to the continental U.S.
