Description
The Gibson 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue Ultra Light Aged is a Custom Shop instrument built to replicate the original 1958 specification with subtle aging that stops well short of heavy relic treatment. A one-piece lightweight mahogany body and two-piece plain maple top pair with unpotted Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups, producing open, vocal midrange and touch-sensitive dynamics across the volume range. The no-wire ABR-1 bridge and 50s rounded medium C neck profile are period-correct details that matter both sonically and in the hand. Ships in a brown Custom Shop hardshell case with complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping, a limited lifetime warranty, and free shipping to the continental U.S.
