Description
The Gibson 1958 Les Paul Standard Ultra Light Aged is a Custom Shop reissue built to 1958 specs with Murphy Lab aging that stops short of heavy relic work, leaving the Bourbon Burst finish with subtle wear that suggests decades of careful use rather than hard touring. Its pair of unpotted Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups deliver open, articulate cleans and a fat, vocal midrange under gain, while the lightweight one-piece mahogany body and no-wire ABR-1 bridge contribute to a resonant, balanced response across the frequency range. Ships in a brown Custom Shop hardshell case with free shipping to the continental U.S., and qualifies for complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping as well as a limited lifetime warranty.
