This pre-owned Gibson 1968 Les Paul Custom Reissue in Ebony is in excellent condition, with minimal wear beyond the factory light aging, and suits players who want a period-correct Custom Shop build without the wait or new-price premium. The mahogany body with a maple top gives you more clarity and bite than an all-mahogany slab, while the mahogany neck keeps the warmth that makes a Les Paul sound like a Les Paul. Scale length is 24.75" on an ebony fingerboard with a 12" radius, and the 1968 Medium C neck profile is a fuller grip than the slimmer '59 profile - useful to know if you're coming from a Standard Reissue.
Both positions run Gibson's '68 Custom Humbuckers through a 500K pot harness, delivering punchy, articulate output with good headroom for both clean and high-gain playing. The ABR-1 bridge and aluminum stop tailpiece are period-correct hardware choices that contribute to the guitar's sustain and string feel. At just under 9 lbs 9 oz, this is a full-weight, non-chambered solidbody - something to weigh against your gig or session demands.
