The Martin 00-10E Retro Joe Bonamassa is an all-solid, plug-in-ready 00-body acoustic built around the character of Bonamassa's prized 1937 pre-war 00-18. A solid spruce top paired with solid sapele back and sides gives this compact guitar warm bass and a punchy, focused midrange - sapele behaves tonally close to mahogany in a 00 body, and scalloped X-bracing keeps the acoustic voice open and responsive. The ebony fingerboard and bridge add stiffness that translates to clear note definition across the fretboard.
Martin's Performing Artist neck profile with a High-Performance Taper runs on a 24.9" scale, which suits players moving between electric and acoustic or anyone who works with fingerstyle technique.
