Description
The Downeast LDB Koa is Bourgeois's take on a compact 00-body fingerstyle guitar, built entirely from figured koa top and back and sides. All-koa construction produces a focused, mid-forward tone that sits differently than a spruce-top - brighter on the attack with a natural compression that suits fingerpicking and light strumming. The ziricote fingerboard and bridge add mass and density to the platform, and the soft-V mahogany neck profile suits players who prefer a traditional feel under the hand.
