The Eastman E20P is a parlor-format acoustic built entirely from solid tonewoods - solid spruce top, solid rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge - a wood combination that's harder to find at this price than you'd expect. The 24.9" scale length and 12" fingerboard radius suit both fingerstyle players and those who want a smaller-bodied guitar that still carries real tonal weight. Hand-scalloped X-bracing lets the spruce top move freely, which helps the compact body produce a fuller, more articulate response than its size suggests.
The ebony bridge and fingerboard add sustain and note clarity, and the bone nut contributes to open-string resonance. This is a practical recording and fingerpicking guitar - the parlor format sits in its own sonic space in a mix and doesn't compete with larger-bodied instruments. This pre-owned example is in very good condition with some finish wear and pick scratches, and it comes with the original hardshell case.
