Description
The Eastman E3D Deluxe is a dreadnought acoustic-electric built around an all-solid-wood platform, making it a practical choice for players who want a working instrument at this price point. The thermo-cured Sitka Spruce top has been heat-treated to simulate decades of aging, which gives the top a quicker response and more open voice than untreated spruce straight from the factory. Solid ovangkol back and sides sit tonally between mahogany and rosewood - focused enough to stay clear under heavy strumming, with enough depth in the mids to support fingerpicking or vocal accompaniment.
The 25.4" scale length pairs with a 12" fingerboard radius and ebony board for a playing surface that stays consistent across the neck. Hand-scalloped X-bracing keeps the top responsive without sacrificing volume, which suits flatpickers and rhythm players who dig in hard. The Fishman Presys VT system means you can plug in at a gig without adding a separate soundhole pickup, and the included padded gig bag makes this a complete package at the price.
