The Eastman PCH2-D is a full dreadnought acoustic built around a solid Thermo-Cure Sitka spruce top - a heat-treated wood that responds more openly than an untreated solid top at the same price and tends to develop further as it gets played. At $500, the spec list is practical: bone nut and saddle, rosewood bridge and fingerboard, a 12" radius, and a dual-acting truss rod are the kind of appointments you'd more commonly find on guitars priced higher.
The laminated rosewood back and sides keep the build durable and consistent, while the Okoume neck with a Traditional Even "C" profile and 25.4" scale length will feel immediately familiar to most players. This is a dependable first solid-top guitar for someone working through lessons or developing flatpicking chops, and it pulls equal weight as a workhorse dreadnought for players who want something road-ready without worrying about it. The padded Eastman gigbag is included, so it's ready to take to a session or lesson as soon as it arrives.
