Description
The Eastman PCH2-GACE is a grand auditorium acoustic-electric built around a solid Thermo-Cure Sitka spruce top - a heat-treated solid top at a price where laminate is the norm. Thermo-Cure processing accelerates the cellular changes that normally take decades of aging, so the top opens up and responds more freely than an untreated solid would at this stage. The grand auditorium body pairs that top with laminated rosewood back and sides, which add consistent projection and durability for players who need a workhorse rather than a showpiece.
A bone nut, rosewood bridge, and 12" fingerboard radius on the 25.4" scale neck give this guitar a hardware spec you'd typically see at a higher price point. The Traditional Even "C" Okoume neck suits both chord strumming and single-note work without committing strongly to either extreme. The onboard Eastman Pickup System means you can plug in without a separate installation - useful for singers-songwriters and gigging players who move between practice and stage regularly. A padded Eastman gigbag is included, which is a practical add at this price.
